EarlyShares will be visiting Columbia University on November 13th. This is a FREE event for NYU students located in Uris Hall Room 141. Maurice Lopes, Founder and CEO of EarlyShares.com, has been an integral player in the evolving of Equity Based Crowdfunding arena. Mr. Lopes will be holding an educational session covering the Equity Based Crowdfunding process, opportunities, advantages and risks. The session will be of benefit to those interested in learning about the JOBS Act and the impact Equity Based Crowdfunding will have on entrepreneurs, startups, small business and investors. He and members of the EarlyShares team will be available to answer questions about crowdfunding and related topics.
EarlyShares is on a national roadshow by visiting 24 major cities in 24 weeks aimed to educate and raise much needed awareness about the JOBS Act and the benefits of Equity Based Crowdfunding.
EarlyShares' goal in each city is to bring this to the attention of the American people at the local business and entrepreneurial level in an informing, engaging and easy to understand way. Our goal is to help everyone understand how to make this new form of investing work for them.
